Surnames: Baumgartner, Bomgardner
A Baumgartner (+variants) surname group was started in 2006 with FTDNA. After a slow start, the group is now growing and interesting results are being found. For example, matches have been found for one line of American Baumgartners, one line of American Bomgardners and Baumgartner families living in Trub, Switzerland, known for its role in Mennonite history. I am administrator of this group (my mother was a Baumgartner) and would be happy to answer any questions by persons interested in being tested.
