Hedwig Bäumle, *1905, emigr. Baden -> America, 11 Mar 1932

Hedwig Bäumle nèe Maier, 27 yrs., widowed, arrived New York on 11 Mar 1932 on the ship “Albert Ballin”, dep. Hamburg, Germany. She wanted to meet a friend in Buffalo, Erie Co., NY named Therese Weyland, living at 79 Roehre Ave., Buffalo. Her place of origin was Tiengen, Baden. Her father is listed as Carl Maier, Gurtweilerstr. 32, Tiengen, Baden.

A Therese Weiland, nèe Schleich, 23 yrs., married, had already arrived New York on 8 Mar 1928 on the ship “Deutschland”. She had an adress in NY, 38 Kehr st., Buffalo, Erie Co., NY. She was born in Dingolfing, Germany and had a brother Georg Schleich in Dingolfing. Her last residence in Germany is listed as Rottenburg. Her husband is listed as Otto Weiland, 38 Kehr st., Buffalo, NY.

A Elfriede Bäumle, 26 yrs., married, travelled together with a Olga Maier, 76 yrs., single or widowed, They arrived New York on 29 Okt 1952 on the ship “Rijndam”, dep. Rotterdam, Netherlands. Final destination is listed as Buffalo, NY, 453 Huxley drive.

I assume that the forementioned Hedwig Bäumle was the wife or widow of my 1st cousin 2 times removed Eugen Bäumle, b. 2 Mar 1894 in the village of Harpolingen in Baden. Elfriede may have been a niece of Eugen Bäumle, i.e. a daughter of his youngest brother Fridolin, b. 4 Mar 1902 in Harpolingen, Baden, d. 9 Jun 1940 in Dachau. These families lived in Tiengen, Baden.

Hedwig may have remarried in Buffalo, Erie, NY as she was widowed so young. Would be delighted to hear from you if you have any information about these people. My main interest is to find out if there are descendants / cousins in Buffalo, Erie Co, NY.
His occupation is listed as “Schreiner” = joiner, carpenter (info from Baden records).
Daniel and Leopold were brothers.
