Magyas and Ilona BAVALA of Rutland Co., Vermont, were witnesses at the baptisms of several of my husbands aunts. Their parents, Jan/John and Ilona/Helena CHERVEN immigrated to Vermont about 1900/1905. We don't know where in Austria Hungary they immigrated from.
