I have two areas I'm stuck on:
1. James Bayard was a merchant living in Bohemia Maryland he married a Mary Ashton possibly of Virginia. She died before James. I have been unable to find any more information about her or her ancestors.
2. I am unsure of Nicolas's place of birth. Family oral history has it that he was from France and his father was a professor in Paris. They fled France after the religious troubles of 1558. Some sources have him as being of Dutch lineage.
