COLUMBIA BASIN HERALD, MOSES LAKE. WASHINGTON.

B. Yvonne “Vonnie” Bayles, 76, longtime Warden resident passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser’s Chapel and Crematory.

Yvonne was born in 1932 in Casselton, N.D., and later moved to Warden in 1974. She worked as a manager for the Warden farm homes for 18 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, sewing, crocheting and gardening. Her favorite flowers were gladiolas.

Yvonne (Vonnie) was proceeded in death by: her parents Arthur T. Morris and Pheobe Nichols, her brothers Jerry, Jesse, Ruell and Wayne Morris, her sisters Vivian Felix and Shirlee Morris, and her daughter Sandra Lynn Umland.


She was survived by: her husband Larry J. Bayles of Warden, her sons Dennis Umland of Warden, Ron Umland (Patty) of Cle Elum, Wash., Jaye Bayles (Kerry) of New Brunswick, Maine, her daughters Lorna Drury (Tad) of Othello, Diane Stacy (Carl) of Warden, Donna Nelson (Ray) of MOSES Lake, her brothers Arthur T. Morris (Dorothy) of Argusville, N.D., Richard Morris of Park Rapids, Minn., her sisters Joyce Huus of New Salem, N.D., Joyce Morris of Fargo, N.D., Veronica Hinneman (Bob) of Cheney, Wash., Ardell Morris of Kansas City, Mo., numerous nieces and nephews, foster children, 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Spokane sometime in the spring of 2009.

Yvonne was deeply loved and will be greatly missed!

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” John 11:25-26
