Hi, I am Arturo Canga
My father was Alberto Baylon Canga, born in Cebu City,
died in Carmen, Cebu.
My grandmother was Felisa Baylon, born in Visayas area,
died in Manila.
I also saw my granduncle Tio Isidro Baylon in Cebu City long
ago. He was a army Civil Eng'r and was in Vietnam long
tme ago.
One uncle's relatives are in Catmon, Cebu.
Some are in Subic, Luzon

I am also belong to Baylon Family, The Grandson of Oscar Baylon, Who is the son of Jose Baylon, a native from Iriga City, Camarines Sur. There are also Baylon existing all over Cam. Sur from Naga City and parts of the province.

Baylon's immigrated to Hawaii

Hi I am just trying to do some research on my great grandfather who immigrated to Hawaii in 1929. His name was Eligio Baylon. I am pretty sure he migrated from Tarlac because that was where my grandfather lived but not 100% sure. My great grandfather change his surname from Baylon to Bailon, therefore my second cousins here in the Daraga Albay Philippines.

As per my knowledge there are several Domingo Baylon.
There BIG and deeper family tree here in Daraga Albay Philippines which are known to spanish lineage even me i havemy 40-50 percent spanish blood.

Same to you im looking forward to know the blodline there in spain

As my grandpa would always tell me a story of his father's siblings, he mentioned that they were like 10 or 12 of them with only one girl. They originally came from Banate, a coastal town some 50 kilometers north of Iloilo province. He said his father's siblings scattered all over the country to seek for greener pastures. His father, however, chose to settle down in Banate. He also said that Arroyo family in Banate and Baylon family merged through inter-marriages; up to now, there's a lot of Arroyos and Baylons in Banate, but I personally don't know how to trace them. We are presently residing in nearby town, in fact our eldest is now residing in Banate where his wife came from.

As to your question whether we are relative, I think it's likely possible. Only that, most of the patriarchs in Baylon lineage were already deceased, and tracing exactly the family tree may be hard to figure out.

Iam one of the Baylons. My Dad's name was Felimon S. Baylon. These names Juana, Felisa, Eldefonza & Segunda seems ring a bell to me, because when our dad is still around he was sometimes mentioning these names to us, his children. I only knew my cousins who were in Oriental Mindoro Philippines and somee in General Santos city Mindanao Phils. Please let me knew if there's any correlation Between me and you? Thank you!!!

I am a descendant of Dona Carmen Baylon Fajardo, she was originally from the town of Calauan, Laguna. She was my grandmother. she is the Sister of CArding Baylon (accountant) and Andres Baylon, (guerilla ww2). I do not remember her two other sisters. Their family owned land in Laguna until the 1960's untul it was sold. They are related to the Marfori's and the Roxas in Laguna. I do remember the name of her father, he is Don Bernardo Baylon. i still have a painting of him when he was in his 80's. As per my research the family name originated in England. Other variations would be Bailon. There are still plenty of people in Calauan that carry the family name. Please look at their archives.

Hie guys, we're the Baylons from the Visayas, specifically Iloilo. There's a lot of us here scattered around the province and city of Ilollo. My Lolo (r.i.p) once told me about their roots; he said, his father (my great grandpa) and the rest of his 8 brothers along with their 1 and only sister had wandered anywhere in the country, and established a family of their own. One distinction in our bloodline from the accounts of my lolo and to the recent generations is that most of us were males. Infact, in my own family, there's only 1 girl in the 8 of us. Anyways, I think the Baylons in Cebu and nearby provinces, as well as all over the country were decendants of those 9 brothers my lolo was telling me. Hope we could be able to communicate and learn from those who are ahead of us the real story of our lineage. Keep in touch... God bless!!!

I am a Baylon. My father's name is Jesselito Baylon and my grand dad (although I never met him, alive at least) is Jesus Baylon. My dad was raised in Cebu (but was born in Manila) and I believe Jesus Baylon is also from the Visayas region.

I'm now here in California with my brother. It would be nice to meet up with other Baylon's.

The first and the last time I saw my grand dad was on his funeral, sad but true. You see my dad is not from the "main line" and there were a couple of others I remember who attended the funeral. The first and last time I saw my "relatives" as well.

I graduated from De La Salle University and moved here to Cali some 4 years ago. I'm really eager to meet up with other Baylon's.

I guess this reply is 6 years too late. But I'm hoping it's not yet too late to have a "reunion".

Btw, I'm 26 and my brother's 29. I'm here in Santa Barbara and he's in Santa Monica (I'm probably giving away too many details but I'm excited to trace my roots =)

I too am researching my Baylon family in the Philippines. My Grandmother was Marta Sevilla Baylon. She was born in Paoay hilippines on 1/13/07, her father (my great grandfather) was Ysidro Duque Baylon born in 1862(?) and died on 3/28/31. His father (my great great grandfather) was Luciano Baylon.

Can someone help me locate more information on the following:

Harrison, Virginia

It has been said they both died before or around 1810. Their children were Thomas, Fannie and Abner. Abner was born 1808.

This is the first time I've seen it spelled Baylon. It is normally Boilon, Boilen, Boylen. There are other variations but mainly Boylen right now.
