During the Slavery era, some my family's name was changed from Baylor to Bailey. From the little bit of history that has been passed on, my family was from the Louisiana area. My Grandfathers name is Manuel Lee Bailey born October 13, 1913 Forbing, LA, his father and mother; Johnny Baylor and Lucy Bowers. Johnny Baylor's father was Warner Baylor.
