My second great grandfather was James Jasper Bays. He was the son of Peter Bays and Margaret Stone. This is the Peter Bays who moved with his family to Floyd County, Kentucky.

My 2nd great grandfather remained in Russell County Virginia with his family.To keep the Peter Bays' separate, I call this man Peter Bays IV.
