Yes, I did. Unfortunately I just canceled my membership with Ancestry because I could not afford it. If you search the US census records for his name, I'm sure you'll find it. He was married to Mary Wrzesinski and one of their children, Henry, is my grandfather.

Good luck!

I don't think the Wisconsin Sadowskis are very much related. Stanislaus and Josephine (Jerzakowski) came in 1868 to Rooling Prairie, Oak Grove Twp, Dodge Co., near the town of Beaver Dam. His brother John, also settled here. His brother Michael married Mary and settled in Milwaukee. Sister Josephine married John Dziobinski and moved to Chicago.

Their father was Joseph Sadowski and he married three times: Tecla Derezinska, Michalina Winiaszewska and I forgot the last one.

Joseph, the father, was born in Smogulec and so was Stanislaus. His wife and several kids died there. He moved to Kcynia where he married Michalina.

Sometime villages help, but I found Sadoskis all over the place, even sailing to Jamestown in the 1600's

This information may help, one never knows.

By the way I forget to check the posts.

davidms@gci.net

The name Anton Wrzesinski refers to my grandmother's father and the brother has the same name. Anton Jr. married twice, I believe a Jagodzinski and a Skabinski. The father Anton is mentioned by Anton Jr. and his sister Eufrozina. Where they come from in Poland I am not sure. Anton Jr. is found in the Poznan Project, but I am not sure of the village.

Lt me know if and when you find something. Thanks

davidms@gci.net

Hi,

I know this was posted some time ago, but I'm wondering about a relative that you mentioned. Anton Wrzesinski. I just started my search and am stuck with an Anton Wrzesinski. I cannot find anything on him. I'm curious to know his info and what you know about him. He may not be the same one, but I thought I'd ask.

I found his name in a 1930 census report.

Thanks,
Justin

This is some information from my dad, Ken Bisarek:

Ken Bisarek was born January 7, 1948 the son of Mike and Mary (Peat) Bisarek. He was one of nine children: Dorothe, Anita, Carol, Lois, Mike, Bob, Mary, Ken, and Theresa. Mike Bisarek was born September 29, 1888. He lived in the Fox Lake area of Wisconsin. He was drafted during WWI during his physical he was found to have a hernia. He spent four or five weeks in the hospital and then traveled as far as Texas and the war ended. He was discharged and was sent home immediately. He took a troop train back to Wisconsin and got off at Livingston WI and that is the area in which he settled.

Martin Bisarek was Ken’s grandfather and Appolonia was Ken’s Aunt. He remembers Appolonia referred to as Pauly. Ken Bisarek as a child remembers meeting three of Mike’s siblings: a sister Jane and a brother Tom and a brother Andrew that lived in Fox Lake WI Also Ken believes Mike to be one of 14 children.
My great-great grandfather was Anton Pisarek, 1836-1906. He arrived in U.S. in June 1870 with wife and children and settled in Beaver Dam, WI. (His ship departed from Bremen, Germany and arrived in Baltimore, MD.) A Martin Pisarek also arrived on same ship with wife Anna and children. I presume they were brothers, but no confirmation. Pisarek name changed to Bazarek in 1890s for reasons unknown. Do you have any info. on family line as to parents of Anton and Martin? Any other info. you have on Bazarek/Pisarek would be welcome. I would be glad to share any I have. Bazarek family left Beaver Dam in late 1890s or early 1900s and settled in Chicago.
