It appears that Jeremiah and Susannah had at least one son, Jacob Ifert, b abt 1790 at Frederickstown. Jacob married Marry Wissinger on 26 Nov 1808 at Maryland, probably in Frederick County. Not much is known about this family, but it appears Jacob as a young man he went to Montgomery county, Ohio, where he lived seven miles from Dayton. For thirty years Mr. Ifert worked in Alexandersville, Montgomery county, and was known as a skilful mechanic, and woodworker. And Jacob Ifert is listed in the Roster of Ohio Soldiers in Was of 1812 in the Roll Call of Capt. Robert Gilchrist's Company; Pages 317-318-319. Vol. 2. Jacob also married Sarah Hetzel between 1820 and 1830 and they had around 6 children. Jacob died Sep 1876 at Shelby County, Ohio.
