Wish to learn more about Faragon White and his wife, who had the surname Beacon. About the only thing I have on them is that they raised their daughter Ellan (possibly "Helen") on Boston's Beacon Hill. Here is what I presently have in my notes:

FARAGON WHITE married (UNKNOWN) BEACON.

Child of FARAGON WHITE and (UNKNOWN) BEACON is:
i. ELLAN (Helen?) WHITE, b. January 1857; d. August 09, 1900.

More about child Ellan White:
====================================================================
ELLAN (Helen?) WHITE was born January 1857, and died August 09, 1900. She married JOHN A. HOYLE, son of FRED HOYLE. He was born August 1854, and died April 29, 1915.

Notes for ELLAN WHITE: From Boston's Beacon Hill. Family lore has it that she was descended from Mayflower Pilgrims.

Notes for JOHN A. HOYLE:
JOHN A. HOYLE (son of FRED HOYLE) was born August 1854, and died April 29, 1915. His first wife was (1) ELLAN (Helen?) WHITE, daughter of FARAGON WHITE and (UNKNOWN) BEACON. She was born January 1857, and died August 09, 1900. John Hoyle's second wife is (2) UNKNOWN. His third wife was (3) CATHERINE MACPHERSON, whom he married December 18, 1907.

Notes for JOHN A. HOYLE:
Hoyle family lore has it that five women showed up at John's funeral to claim his body. He was said to be a promiment 19th century architect in Boston, having designed several big buildings, some with markers with his name. One was St. John's church. I am trying to determine if he is the Alexander Hoyle who joined the Boston architectural firm of Cram and Ferguson in 1904. He supposedly had trouble with alcohol, which led to great swings in fortune for his family.

Children of ELLAN WHITE and JOHN HOYLE are:
i. ELLEN HOYLE.
ii. JOHN HOYLE, b. 1878; d. February 10, 1960. m. MARY PEPPER. 5 children: MILDRED (1900-?), JOHN C (1901-1956), THOMAS (1905-1981), MARY (1910-1993), and MARGUERITE (1912-?).
iii. ALFRED FRANCES HOYLE, b. June 06, 1886, Caboose, New York; d. November 24, 1942. m. MARY LUCETTA ("Mame") Mackenzie July 4, 1908 in Boston. Lived on Savin Hill in Boston, across from owner of Wrights Detson Tennis Company. Mother-in-law (Mary Ellen Kelly Mackenzie) did not like because he wasn't Catholic. Owned a garage that housed and repaired Boston City Maintenance trucks. 8 children: FREDERICK HARROLD (1909-1954), HELEN CATHERINE (1912-2002), ALFRED FRANCES "Huck" (1914-1989), JOSEPHINE FRANCIS MARY PATRICIA (1917-1989), ROBERT STEVEN (1921-1967), JAMES BARNES "Mickey" (1925- ), RUTH THERESA (1928- ), and JOAN MARIE (1931- ).
