A distant relative was a Jemima JERMYN who married Thomas BEACROFT, son of a John BEACROFT. This John BEACROFT/BECROFT was born in England about 1835. His wife was born in ENG also but dead as of 1880. John's son Thomas is said to have been born in AUSTRALIA, but his obituary says he was from Stockton, which I think is referring to some place in PA. Thomas was born about 1865. John's other children were Ellen and John. They were living in Beaver Meadow Mines, Carbon, PA in 1880.
