i have found a marriage of a george beale to ann stokes in hankerton but it is in 1772, unless my george was much older when he married this seems a bit early???

i also found a marriage of a john Beale and Jane Hayward at Crudwell on christmas day 1742, could this be the john and jane you spoke of?

the fact that George and martha were both dead by 1841 could mean they married older. the only way to solve it is to find Georges baptism really!
