I am researching the family of my GGGG Grandfather William Beamond (b. abt 1774 Mainstone) who married Hannah Evans (b.abt 1778 Mainstone) in Churchstoke, Montgomery,Wales abt 1798. Their children were born in Mainstone Shropshire as follows: William 1800, Edward abt 1802, Richard 1805 and Thomas in 1807. By 1829 the son, Edward, m. Harriet Hannah Jackson of Yorkshire and was living in London. Edward and Harriet had five children all born in London - Edward Palmer b.1830, Arthur b.& d. 1835, Frederick William & Alfred Francis b. 1838, Harriet Hannah b. 1840. Any information regarding the place the family lived and occupation/s in Shropshire would be appreciated as would the date and place of any deaths of Edwards parents/siblings. Any marriages of Edward's siblings would also be appreciated. As a point of interest Edward was transported to Tasmania in 1842 for receiving some stolen Aberdeen shirting cloth, his second offence, the first being stealing ribbons; His wife and children were permitted to join him in Tasmania c.1850
