I may have contacted you before, if so let me know. My ancestor, Lucinda Beardon/married Kelly/Abney, was my great grandfather James M. Abney's second wife. I too am searching for the Beardon Ancestors. Recently a cousin informed me that Anne Abney, was a sister to James, Lavina Jane, Sarah and Emmiline Abney, and married Francis Beardon. They had one son Louis Beardon, who was an Attorney in Branson. He is in census with wife Laura, and 6 children listed. I think it was 1900 census. I am trying to contact any of these children who are now probably dead but they may have children. Do you have any info for me or comments. I do not know who the parents of Lucinda are but James and Lucinda were married in Chariton Co. MO. where he and his sibs lived. Please mail me at
