My name is Cliff Beato, My grandfather Ralph came from Teramo in Abruzzi Italy about 1892. He and his wife Anna Rosa (Scalone) had 6 children: Ralph, Emma, Robert, Catherine, Leonard, and Betty. They lived in Philadelphia. My Great Grandfather Pasquale DiBeato had 5 children: Ralph Sr., Antonio, Harry, Philip, and Julia. Do you know anything about these people? My name is Clifford Beato, 2nd of 3 children born to Ralph James Beato Jr. He was born in Philadelphis 1/2/1923 to Ralph and Emma. Married Cecilia Mezner in Chicago while stationed there during WWII. My wife and I live in Bourbonnais IL, and I am retired from the ministry.

In 1974 I married Sharon Evans and we have 2 girls. Jennifer is married to Anthony Klima and they have 1 son, Ryan. They live in Papillion Omaha. Jill is married to Mark Schoolmeesters and they have one son Greyson, and 1 daughter on the way. They live in Navarre Minnesota.

This is my first visit to Mocavo, and I was surprised to see your message. What is interesting is that I must therefore be yhour uncle. As far as I know we have never met. Thanks for your posting.

Tatiana I'm also from the Dominican Republic and my maternal grandmother is Beato. To my understanding she is the daughter of Moro Beato who I think was from Moca and I think she has a half brother named Caonabo Beato. Please email me if at delorbej@lasalle.edu.

Hello. My name is Annette Scott. I went to high school with Trudy Beato. We lived together for a couple of years in the 80's. I have been trying to locate Trucy. I heard that she works @ Lord and Taylor, but I don't know which one. One of our mutual friends said last she heard Trudy lived in Somerville,Ma. It's been a while since you posted your message, but I just came across it - I hope you still receive alerts.
My name is Maika and I live in Spain. I haven't researched much about my family name, but most of what I've read points out that its origin is in Burgos, the spanish region where my dad comes from.
Have you found out anything about your own family's?
It could be cool to compare our lines and see if we're related in any way.

hello! i am Christina Beato. I was born and raised here in Manila, Philippines.

Most of the Beatos here are musically inclined. :-) My father, Pedro Beato, was a pianist.

I am Tatiana Beato, My Dad is Pedro Beato and his dad was Ramon Beato. They are from the Dominican Republic. My grandmother is Elsa Mirambeaux. My aunt and uncle are Trudy (Gertrudis) & Marcos Beato.

Antonio, son of Pasquale and Anarosa, came to this country with his mother and two brothers in 1901; Pasquale had arrive in 1893. Julia was born in Philadelphia. Antonio (Anthony) was my grandfather. My mother, Olga, married Henry Louderbough and had four children. Neither of my grandparents spoke of Italy; I knew my grandfather had come over as a 10 year old from Abruzzi, but did not know what town until I read your e-mail. I don't remember my grandfather ever talking about his family, and I did not know he had siblings until I started doing some research. I am afraid I don't have much to contribute to your knowledge, but will slowly keep looking and would be happy to share anything I find. Thanks,

I am researching the Beato family that came to Philadelphia from Teramo, Italy. The names I have are: Pasquale Beato (b. 1863-d. ?) married to Alma/Rosa/Almarosa (Josepeta?). Pasquale came to America in 1893 and he and Alma had at least four children, Harry, Antonio, Raffael (Ralph), and Julia.

Harry (b.1889-d. ?) married Louisa (b.1893-d. 1981) in 1913 and had Carmella (b 1913), Anna (b. 1915), Henry (b.1919), Richard (b. 1921-d. 1993), David (b.1925) and Daniel (b. 1927).

Antonio (b. 1891-d. ?) married Lillian and had at least one child, Olga (b. about 1916).

Ralph (b.1892-d.1975) married Emma Ellis (b. 1903-d. 1984) and had six children, Ralph, Robert, Emma, Leonard, Catherine and Betty.

Julia was born around 1900, but I don’t know anything about her.

What this all tells me is that there must be a lot of Beatos running around out there related to this branch! Ralph was my great-grandfather. I would love to share information with anyone else also researching this family. I can be reached at chrystawilson@yahoo.com.

Have Beato ancestors split between the Philidelphia and Pittsburgh areas of PA. Steven Beato (Bito?), married to Ethel is my GG-Grandfather. I _think_ his sister, Mary, has descendants (last names Ivan, Beato?) in the Philidelphia area. Would love to compare notes, am stuck with any more info on this family.
