Margaret Grassick (b.2-4-18180 married George Beattie in Strathdon Church, Aberdeenshire, Scotland on 7-13-1835. They had 13 children, among them twins Ann and Margaret. Ann was my ggrandmother and was born 1-1-1839. When they immigrated to Canada I think they came to the Wellington County, Nichol Township area of Canada. One of the sons was the Reverend John A. Beattie who was a chaplin and was at one time presented to King George V of England. A daughter, Minna married William Patterson who was a professor of math and astronomy at a university in London, Ontario, Canada.
