Beatty family

There is probably a very good chance that we are related. Here is a page on my great great great uncle that we just located and we are also from County Fermaugh in Ireland.

We think our ancestors actually came over around 1850 or 1851 and settled in Ohio before coming to iowa (and kansas as Adam).
Our lineage is 242 in the Beatty notebook page which you probably have seen and one of my distant cousins is researching our ancestors and is in Ireland right now. One more question: Do you know if your ancestors were Protestant or Catholic. That's been part of the problem with us is that we can't find our ancestors because the name is spelled differently in Ireland whether you are Protestant or Catholic.
Thanks
