There was a Vera Beaudette that edited the 1915/16 Business Directory of Park Ridge, Des Plaines and Mount Prospect, IL. Do you know if this is the same person? I am interested in her life story, especially any connection to Park Ridge.

The name of the church this marriage occurred in would have been St. Barbara's where the Rev. Raphael CAVICCHI was pastor from 12 Nov 1899 - 11 July 1906. (Source: History of the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie and Marquette By Antoine Ivan Rezek)

Bertha was my grandmother. Eleanor was my mom, Francie's brother. We lived and grew up a block away from you grandpa. He was a great man. I remember his sense of humor and he would often stop by our house and chat with my mom. He was very fit, walked a lot.
Where are you living?
I live in AK but my sisters live in Chippewa. I will be in Chippewa this summer and would love to get together with you if that works.

Julian Beaudet was born 27 April 1916 in Glens Falls, NY. He had a brother Arthur who was born 14 December in Glens Falls. Julian married Mildered Tripp 8 May 1939 in Glens Falls. They had at least two children, Clay Arthur born 1940 and Frederick Neal born 1943 both in Glens Falls.

I will check on information my great uncle collected his name was Art Beaudet and my grandfather was Julian Beaudet. I know
that the family originally was from Canada. My grandfather Julian lived in Lake George, New York. My father, his 2 brothers and sister were raised in Lake George. Uncle Art was a pilot and moved to Texas where he raised his family. My father Fred and Art's son, Art Jr. are now both living in North Carolina

Louis Abraham Robinette is my wife's great-grandfather. I am interested in learning more about his mother, Matilda LaBatte, and grand-father, Francois LaBatte, as well as anything connected to his father, Vanoss Robinette.

My wife's grandmother was Agnes Robinette, daughter of Louis Abraham. I can provide info on Louis's children and descendants.

Carlton Raoul Beaudette was born 24 July 1912 in Minneapolis, MN and died 7 April 1970 in Minneapolis, MN. His parents were Raoul J. beaudette and Harriett M. Swartwood.

Two sisters of my great-grandfather, Majorique Bolduc, married Beaudet(te) men: Marie Lucie Bolduc married Phineas Beaudette and her sister, Nathalie (Tillie), married Louis Beaudette. Both were sons of Avila Beaudet and Camille Auge. Lucie and Nathalie were both married in Hennepin County, MN. We have found many of the children of Lucie, but Nathalie and Louis had 13, according to the 1900 census.

Sorry, I don't have any info on Adolphus, but I'm wondering if you know anything else about Vera Beaudette. She was married to my mother's cousin, Ezra Winter. Ezra was an internationally renowned muralist.

Hi Bonita,
This is the information I got from my father's paperwork on Vanoise Robinette, his grandfather. Military service: Enlisted at Fort Snelling, MN, on 3-4-1863, in Company M, 1st Minnesota Mounted Rangers and was mustered into service on November 6, 1863 as a Private. Vanoise was Honorably Discharged on December 1, 1863 at Fort Snelling by "orders." Burial: St. Peter's Cemetery, Dakota County, MN-www.dakotahistory.org. [Notice the spelling of his first name] Census: Sept. 27, 1850 - Free Inhabitants in Mendota, county of Dakota. Vanoise is said to be 11 yrs old, male, and born in MN. I do not know anything about his sibling or his original parents. I thought this might help in the search. Where did the rumor come from that he was adopted, anyway? Also, the rumor about his parent being Noel Beaudet?? Where did that come from? If you can answer that, I might have more answers for you! Take care, Rebecca
