looking for Henry Ellis Beaumont's - born in Indiana abt 1842 - parents. possibly a george a beaumont and fanny ellis married in Indiana in 1840. no record of them on the 1850 census, nor henry. henry, however, appears on Illinois census in 1860. he served in the civil war, ended up in California and is my g-g-grandfather. no family record of his parents exists.
