My ggrandfather was Oscar Beavers. He died sometime prior to 1950. Believe he was either from or lived in west central Alabama around Tallassee and worked or was somehow involved with Birmingham Southern Railroad. My grandfather, his son was Paul Jerome Beavers, married to Erma Guy Beavers. Other children of Oscar were Oscar, Jr., a naval commander in Virginia and Marie, in Tennessee. Oscar Sr is buried in Americus Georgia with his wife (no name - we called her Mammy) and brother named Fabe or Fabian, wife named Anna Laurie.
