My 8 week old daughter (our first) is called Isabella Willison. I only noticed there was an Isabella in our family in the past after looking at the family tree after she was born... obviously now I am keen to find out more about the Isabella my Great, Great, Great Granddad married... Isabella Lucy Beazley.

The Cochet is definitely part of my family as my Nan & Gdad gave the name as a starting point but the earliest record I have of it is John Cochet Willison 1829-1907 (the one that married Isabella). We have had 3 more John Cochet Willison’s since then leading up to my Granddad (Dennis Willison) where the name was only carried on by his oldest brother John who died young… more details if you want them.

so any thoughts you have on the subject of where Cochet comes from would be welcomed by all at this end ???

My 12 week old niece has been called Emily and my wife and I have long decided that our first son will be called Henry so I was surprised to see such coincidence in this family. An Emily, Isabella & Henry growing up together etc.

I hope we can help each other to get the most out of this website/subscription.
