COLUMBUS, OH – Services for Mrs. Bessie Mae Bebbs, 72, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bebbs was born June 26, 1939, in Montgomery, Alabama, a daughter of Mint and Sally Ann Hill Minion.

A loving homemaker, Bessie loved gardening, painting, ceramics, and watching westerns.
She was a member of the Grace Evangelistic Church, and a former member of the Morning Star Baptist Church.
She was also a member of the Associated Neighborhood Senior Center.

She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, six children, Rosalee Davis, with whom she resided and Sonya Bebbs, both of Columbus, Ohio and Torianna, Roberta and David Bebbs, all of Youngstown and Robert Jr. of Niles, Ohio; a brother, Mason Minion of Atlanta; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Bessie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Lola Bebbs; sister Lucille Ford; and great grandson, Jeremiah Davis.

Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
