My husband's mother was a Bebout whose parentage I am having problems with. 1 set of info says her Mother was Delia Bebout (F-Elisha Bebout M-Sarah Torrey) and her Father was Charles Welch Bebout (F-William Richardson Bebout M-Julia Ann Underwood). She says her Mother was Eva Adele Bebout born in Hull Iowa on Apr 8 1882 (Elisha- Sarah) and her Father was Charles Welch (March 2 1869) who lived with a Bebout family and took their name. I can not find any thing to support either side. Supposedly Charles Welch was married to a Loy ____? and had a son carl before he married Delia/Eva. I think this happened in the Sullivan County MO area.
