My husband's great grandfather was born in San
Angelo, TX somewhere around 1886 to Susano
Becerra and Maximiana Lujan. The family story
is that Susan Becerra escaped from Mexico due
to his being a Baptist preacher and the
Catholics ran him out. Benjamin married Mary
Inez Sedillo who I think he met in San Patricio,
NM about 1910. They moved to Colorado where his
brother had a restaurant. Benjamin and an small
son, also named Benjamin, died of the influenza
outbreak and Mary married his brother, Daniel.
I'm looking for any Becerra or Sedillo information.
