Hi

My dad is John Bechard, son of Louis and Elizabeth Bechard (now Blair), who lived in Dover Twp. My grandmother is still alive (she's 90) and was much younger than her 1st husband, Louis, who died 40 some yrs ago. I believe Joseph was my dad's grandfather....I will update you on his grandmother's name ASAP. Does this help you? My dad had 2 sisters: Linda (deceased) and Joanne.

contact: lucindaknelsen@yahoo.ca

Theodore Bechard is my 5 x great grandfather and was born January 1, 1753 in Notre Dame Liesse, La Riviere, Quebec, Canada. Mary Remillard was born also on January 1 in 1762 in St. Phillippe, Laprairie Diocese, Quebec, Canada. They were believed to be married November 17, 1783 in St Phillippe, Laprairie Diocese, St Jean, Quebec, Canada. I hope this may help. My mother was a Bechard, daughter of Norman Albert Bechard.

Bruce,

If you're still around this message board I'm trying to determine the children of: Francois Bechard (b.1809) and Cecile David (Davy) (b. 1807)

In particular I was told at another website's message board for Bechard that they had a daughter named Alphonsine but I haven't been able to find any record of this person. All the trees at WorldConnect show five children none named Alphonsine?

Alphonsine is supposedly the wife of Camille Hebert and they had a daughter named Rose of Maria Rose Hebert who marries Frank Denault in Adams, MA in 1889. Frank and Rose are my ggrandparents

Thanks for any help you can provide.

David Denault

It's confusing...I wonder if we are all working on different Theodore's?! Even the birth dates are different but the parents are always the same....
Your e-mail isn't available in your replies and I don't subscribe to ancestry...in case it's available through them.
Thank you
Sandy

I wrote to the library of Australia and the prisons where inmates were Canadians. They replied that they had in their files to any Theodore Béchard. Anyway, you can consult the same accounts.
Tell me where he got the information that was prisoner to Tasmania?

You may want to write more to my email.
Humberto - Mendoza - Argentina
traducción del español al inglés
As you know, my line is also Theodore Margeritte Béchard and Remillard. I have the entire line to the present, from the first Béchard in America: Louis Renée Béchard.

There are two children of Theodore and Margeritte who are our ancestors: Francois and Basile. Is that correct?.

Now, Francois was born in 1801 and one of his sons is Theodore Béchard, my grandfather, another son was named Godfroi Béchard who emigrated to Jefferson, Union, South Dakota.
I have in my possession two letters written in 1904 and 1905 of Godfroi, addressed to my grandfather Theodore. Theodore was living in Argentina.

Do you have any information on Godfroi and their descendants or among the many messages received by any person named as ancestor Godfroi?

It is important to me.

Best regards.
Humberto Tejada Bechard
Mendoza-Argentina

Esta es mi línea.

One of the sons of Theodore Béchard - and Margueritte Remillard was Francois Béchard born in 1801 and married Clemence Goyette.
This is my line.

What is your line?
There was a significant event in the family Béchard.

Note: I'm using a language translator and do not translate well.
Hi. I saw your message on Bechard (Mine is Joseph born about 1792) married to a Marguerite Brault also born in 1792. They had a daughter named Florence Flavie Bechard born about 1814 in L'Acadie, St. Jean, Quebec, Canada. She married a Dominique Legesse on Oct. 10, 1826 in L'Acadie. St. Jean, Quebec, Canada. I don't know how correct my information is. I am also a member of the Hebert family in Michigan.

Donna

Helen Marie Bechard obit from NY 2002

Plattsburgh — Helen Marie Bechard of Chazy, N.Y., awoke to God early Saturday morning on Dec. 28, 2002.

Helen was born in Saint Michelle Canada on July 1, 1917, the first daughter of Leopold and Eleanor Coupal.

Helen married Arthur Bechard of Champlain on Aug. 5, 1939. They had been married for over 63 years.

Over the years, Helen held many jobs and positions, which included cook, antique dealer, as well as nurses aid for Physicians Hospital. However, her most important and successful position was that of wife and mother. Her business sense, pride, wit and perpetual optimism resulted in the triumphant raising of five boys and three girls.

To Helen, her family represented more than what money or material things could begin to compete with. Her endeavor in life was to do what she could so that all her children would be happy. Like her husband Arthur, she was inclusive. At every dinner or on every vacation, Helen would be delighted to have all her family and their friends be included. To Helen, this was Love.

Helen was predeceased by her sister Raymonde and her brother Edmore.

Her husband Arthur and her eight children, who include David, Roy, Michael, Diane, Linda, Judy, Terry and Ricky, survive her. This of course includes many daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, partners and many grandchildren and great-grand-children.

Her Love, her smile and her heart will be missed by many.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held at the Assemblies of God Church at 164 Prospect Ave in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow this service.

At Helen's and the family's request, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Assemblies of God Church at the above address or the Chazy Fire Department, Chazy, NY 12921.

Im not related
info from www.PressRepublican.com
obituary archives

Two Bechards marry 2 Boucher dit Rouille

Francois Bruno Bechard married Felicite Boucher dit Rouiller and his sister Genevieve married Felicite's brother, Joseph 22 Oct 1809 and 14 Sept 1820 respectively. Felicite and Joseph's parents were Joseph and Josephte Suprenaut and Francois and Genevieve's parents were Louis and Marie Clothilde Remillard. Looking for where these two families migrated, died or were buried.

Theodore Bechard, spouse Mary Remillard

Thedore Bechard, parents Louis Bechard and Marie Clothilde Remillard, was married to a Mary Remillard (date unknown) and he was buried 14 Sept 1829 St. Marguerite de Blairfinde, Lacadie, St. Jean, Quebec. Is this anyone's ancestor? Does anyone know where he was born. I think I'll soon have a confirmation of a marriage for them. He was 66 years old at death if priest was given correct info.

Marceline Bechard from Frenchville, ME

I'm looking for information regarding Marceline. She was born abt. 1874 in Frenchville and died abt. 1945 in Van Buren. I have her father listed as William, but 1880 Census shows her living in the Peter Bechard household. I'd appreciate any information I can get. Thanks!
