Does anyone have a family ancester missing after battle of Waterloo?
Birth would have been 1794, March,he lists his home as Berlin and as Hessie Cassel on some US Census he joined the Prussian Army as a Jaegar or sharpshooter as a young man and fought at Waterloo with General Bloucher and at Leipzig.
After many fruitless searches for his parents or siblings I am now considering that his family may have considered him lost in battle.
Anyone with any hints or ideas, please respond. Thanks in advance.
