I'm glad hearing from you and I hope we have some parenthood in commom because you said your dad's name is Joseph Beckers. Well, to try to clear up things, please ask your dad if he had any parent in Buschbei-Rattheim. My Great-Grandparents was Joseph Beckers and Clara Beckers. They migrated to Brazil in 1920 or between 1920 and 1922. I remember my grandmother always said that she was 9 years old when they went to Brazil. They placed home in Curitiba City, State of Parana, South of Brasil. I'm not sure if others family members came to USA or other countries, but it all happened during the First World War.
Can you tell me how old is your dad and what city is he from or if he had any grandparent or great grandparent called by the names of my great-grandparents, please?
I'm the third generation and I'm now 41 yo., counting like this: great-grandparents/grandparents/mother/me.
