AUSTINTOWN, OH – Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for William Earl Beda Jr., 82, who passed away Thursday morning, August 28, 2012 at Briarfield at the Ridge.
“Bill” was born Nov. 4, 1929, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) a son of the late William H. and Ethel (King) Beda Sr.
A U.S. Navy Seabee, Bill worked for Kautz for 25 years and retired in 1994 from Central Heating.
After retirement, he loved RVing, where he had many friends both in Ohio and Texas.
Bill enjoyed wood carving, painting, woodworking, and was a Ham Radio operator.
His wife, the former Louise Coriston, whom he married Oct. 24, 1953, passed away Oct. 10, 2004.
Bill will be sadly missed by his sons, William Edward (Nancy) Beda III of Boardman, Ohio, Tom (Judy) Beda of Tavares, Florida and David (Vickie) Beda of Youngstown, OH; one sister, Dorothy (Ronald) Ansevin of Poland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Jamie) Boehme, Bradley (Megan) Beda, Ryan (Carla) Beda and Matthew (Amanda) Beda; and two great-grandchildren, Lenci and Lucas.
Besides his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Beda.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Bill’s name.
