Hello Joyce, we are descended from some Hempstead
Bedells (Silvanus->Hezekiah->Hezekiah->Clara Ann Bedell),
but not your Daniel. I am looking for details on Clara Ann's
mother (Nancy Seaman) -- Nancy was Married to Hezekiah
Bedell on 8-9-1806 and her daughter Clara Ann
married Richard De Mott in Hempstead 10-26-1833. All
these folks are from Hempstead.

Daniel is at the old burying ground in Hempstead, though you
probably already knew that:

148. General Daniel Bedell, died Dec. 6, 1835, aged 69 yrs., 4 mos., 9 days. (General Bedell's will was probated Jan. 27, 1836, Queens Co.,Liber I, p. 157.)

149. Mary Bedell, wife of General Daniel Bedell, died Sept. 9, 1843, aged 71 yrs., 10 mos., 22 days. (Will probated Queens Co., Liber I, page 306)
