I don't know much about Barnard E. Bee. He was born in Charleston SC in 1826 and died at the first battle of Bullrun shortly after making the 'rally round, there stands Jackson like a stone wall' remark. Beyond that I only know he was my great grandfather's (William Edward Bee) uncle or great uncle.
