I only have a reference from a book on the History of Indiana County Pa to go on but in the article it says that the first Bee ancestor of our particular line came from England. Another source states he orginally came from Scotland. It almost certainly was the British Isles. His full name was Jacob Bee and he came over some time in the late 1700's. He settled in eastern Pennsylvania around Cumberland and Lebanon counties. I know nothing of any of the Bees living in England, Scotland or Wales but thought the name Jacob might be one that a researcher of the Bee lineage in the area would have in their family tree as one who migrated to America in that time period.
