Report Description: Death of Nathaniel ALLEY and James BEEBEE, Sisters Children.

Last Saturday about 7 o'clock an awful Providence befel Nathaniel ALLEY and James BEEBEE, sisters children, each about 13 years of age, were kill'd in this town, and the horse under them by lightning, and they were both buried the next day in one grave. About the same time on said day, the lightning struck the house of Mr. Samuel CHAPMAN, which tore above half the roof off, ript up a board in the closet, struck his wife and another person in the house, but they are like to do well.
The lightning struck in 12 or 13 different places in this town, and a hifer was kill'd thereby. And 'tis said a green tree was set on fire thereby, and continued burning 'till Tuesday following.
