We live in Mississauga near the lake.
One daughter lives in Ottawa, which Anne states you are located. I get up there 3-4 times a year. Would love to hear more from you.
Hi Sharlee: No, unfortunately I am not a relative of yours. My name is Margaret Macdonald,(Cain) from Grosvenor Street in London. I have been in touch with Anne through classmates.com and she told me you last name was McNally. I googled your name and up came this site. What else should one do on New Years Day when the family is all having an afternoon nap. I know you are in Toronto and became a nurse as you had said you wanted to when you were in London. If you'd like to e-mail me feel free, I'd love to hear from you. Margaret.

Our family changed to Beecham in the 1840's when John and his brothers went to war and moved from Illinois to Kansas and Oklahoma.

Hi Laurina
Your Dad was Gordon Evison. His father was William Evison Beecham. William and my great grand father (Frank) were brothers. Your Grandfather William was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada on March 21, 1887. William married Mary Larena Brown on June 22, 1910 in Peel (which is the county where Brampton is located) William listed his occupation on their wedding certificate as "Tram driver" which was probably a streetcar. Mary's parents were James Brown, and Mary Jane Hutton. James was a shoe maker.
Now back to William Evison...his father was Richard Beecham, and he emigrated to Canada from England in 1882. He married Elizabeth Grey on Jan 11, 1885. They had eight children. Gertrude born 1885 who was the witness at William's wedding, Elsie b. 1888, Annie Eliza who was born 1889 and only lived 11 months, Kenneth Mason who was born 1891 and had a heart condition, and only live to be 14 years old. Frank b. 1892 (he was my grandfather Harry Beecham's Dad) Ethel b. 1898, and Helen b. 1899.
We are an old Brampton Ontario family. I was born there, my father was born there, my grandfather was born there, and my great grandfather was born there. I now live in Waterloo, Ontario which is about an hour from Brampton. My Dad still lives in Brampton.
William Evison's parents were Jonathan Beecham b.1822 in England and Eleanor Evison b.1822. Jonathan's parents were Richard Beecham b. 1777 and Mary Meads b.1779
I hope that I have given you some answers, and I am in the process on adding documents to my tree on ancestry. You can view my tree (Beecham Family Tree)I have a few pictures.
My great grandfather was quite a good athlete (lacrosse) Was your grandfather William?
We will email each other again soon I hope. I have some more info for you, and some questions too.
Catherine Beecham

Hello Catherine,
My name is Laurina from Australia and I received your message this morning thankyou.
I have found my 1st cousins (Dad's nieces)Corrie Beecham & Adrianna Beecham. They have not been able to help me really, my main query is to find where Dad was born and start from there. My cousins had said they would help, but I haven't pressured them anymore.
Dad came to Australia in 1945 and met & married my Mum in 1946 and never returned to canada, he died in 1988 aged 68yrs. Being so far away has not helped at all and I am not experienced in where to go with this, I did try a few agencies trying to obtain his birth certificate but was refused because I didn't know anyone in Canada, I guess because the world has a lot of identity fraud now.
I look forward to hearing from you and thankyou again for making contact.
Sincerly
Laurina

I am very interested in finding John and Margaret Smith Beauchamp. I am a Smith family researcher and have been for over 35 years. I have the Smith family tree on Ancestry if you would wish to check it out.
I have been searching and searching for John and Margaret Beauchamp in an 1860 Indiana census. Do you have such?
I have only one child for John and Margaret, Thomas Edward or Edward Thomas, born about 1860. Since John and Margaret were married in 1853, there must be others.
Do you know if John died while serving with the Union Army during the Civil War? What happened to Margaret after 1880?
Thank You for any information you can help me with, or clues on where to look. I have the census of 1850, 1870 and 1880.
Margaret was born in Missouri, so must have traveled to Parke County to marry John Beauchamp. It may have been an arranged marriage?
Thank you again,
Judy Smith

WOW! Hello Cousin! Laurence Elmer - I'm assuming, was named after my great great Grandfather - Elmer ENC Beecham. The Beechams tended to name their children after parents/relatives. I'm communicating with another cousin out in California (Phyllis Christian) who is named for her aunt - who is named after my great grandfather Philip Beecham.

I've done a lot of research on the line - but yours was one that I kept hitting road blocks with. I need to upload another "version" of the tree. I did find a few more pieces of information that you might not have. I'd love to pick your brain on some pieces I don't have. Also - I have quite a few pictures of the Beecham family (including a picture of Thomas and Amy.)

my email is as follows if you want to directly communicate: brandon.erikson@cox.net

Great to meet you! And I'm already adding your info into the tree. My grandmother will be very excited!
BWE

I am having trouble getting my e-mail to work properly. When I tried to e-mail you, my e-mail came back as undeliverable. My e-mail address is jmb264@juno.com. Your help is very appreciated. As a side note, all of Joseph Ransom Boucher's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren have died. Of his great great grandchildren, only 2 males were born. Since neither one of us have any sons, this branch of the Boucher family is about to end.

I think that there is a strong possibility that Elenor (Slenor) Tutt was Ellender Butcher Crayton. Now I wish I had not dropped my Ancestry subscription because there was a Hiram Crayton, born about 1802, in Mississippi (I forget what countyr) in 1850. If his wife was Elenor and Joseph was living with them it would be more conclusive.
I am not at home, using dialup, so could you email me at gjboucher@comcast.net? Trying to get into ancestry's boards with dialup is taking forever.
I can send you the information from The Boucher Family when I get home. You might find a copy of the book on ebay.
Gwen Boucher

I looked at some of my old information and census records posted on the Lawrence Co., AL Genweb site.

On Oct 28, 1829 John N. Boucher, son of Rev. Joshua Boucher, married "Slenor Tutt." John N. Boucher was born Dec. 2, 1806, according to The Boucher Family by Franklin A. Burkhardt, page 386.

1830 census for Lawrence Co., AL lists John Butcher with one male child under 5.
John N. Boucher must have died after 1830 because on August 29, 1834 "Ellender Butcher" married Hiram Craton. This would be about the time that Joshua Ransom Boucher was born. John N. Boucher was not listed as an heir when his father died in 1845.

1840 census for Lawrence Co., AL lists Hiram Crayton with 1 male child between 5 and 10 and 1 male child between 10 and 15.

Gwen Boucher

Joseph Ransom Boucher was my great great grandfather born in Alabama in 1834 and died in Gibson County, Tennessee in 1909. He married Sarah E. Gaither about 1858 in Alabama. Sarah was born in 1831 in Alabama and died in Gibson County, Tennessee in 1908. Their first child was Marion Gambol Boucher born in Limestone County near Decater, Alabama in 1859. He died in Hopkins County, Texas in 1943.
About 1860, Joseph and his family moved to Tennessee. They had 5 other children in Tennessee. These children are all buried in Gibson County, Tennessee.

Glad to hear from you. I tried to do as you said, but because I am not a paid member, all I got was sent to the place that said how to become a member. I know that there was a lot of information sent you and it would take quite a lot of space here, but because I am not a paid member, I can not use the paid services. The only other way is to put it all here or find a way to exchange our regular e-mail addresses. The company does not recommend the exchange of addresses, but since you have information for me, maybe there is a way to exchange them so you can send it to my current e-mail address. I am not sure how to do that. Some sites will not allow it to go through, they say it is to protect our privacy. If you know of a way to exchange addresses, let me know. I am very excited to know there is information you found and am looking foreward to reading what you have. I have found some more names of relatives and other persons of interest that I would like to know about also. If there is another way for us to communicate privately just let me know where and how.
Thanks,
Rose

Hello Laurina! OMG!! I was just surfing the net, when I decided to type in my maiden name, to see what came up. I saw your posting, and nearly flipped out!! YOU are my cousin! Your father, was my uncle Gorden. My father was your Uncle Kenneth. We have the same Grandmother and Grandfather. I have a picture of the 2 of them, as young boys hanging in our hallway! My sisters and brother have always wondered where our Australian cousins were. This is AMAZING! My Dad passed away January 14th, 1997,..and my Mom passed away before him, in April 27th, of 1995. My sisters and I know where Grandma Beecham/Brown is buried. She's in a small village cemetary, called Churchville. I called one of my sisters to tell her I found your posting on here, and she's anxious to talk to you too. Please contact me @ garnetgem54@hotmail.com .... I'm still excited that I've found you. Hope you enjoyed a wonderful Easter. Take care.......Adriana Beecham
