Matthew is not found in the 1850 Jackson County TN Census or surrounding counties after that date. His mother Rachael Beechboard does show back up in the 1870 census listed as 75 years old. Anyone who might know what Rachael Beechboard's husband's name was and/or what happened to her son, Matthew Beechboard, please contact me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
