I have been doing what is essentially a one-name study on the Beechwood (Beachwood) family since late 1993. I have collected quite a number of records (birth/mariage/death, census, city directory) on this surname from the following states: NY, KS, MO, OK, PA, NJ, CT, FL, CA, WA, and others.

I am interested in corresponding with anyone who has ANY connection to the Beechwood or Beachwood family. I have identified the origin of my direct line as being through Jacob Buchholtzer, who immigrated to Lewis County, NY in September 1837. He had three sons whose lineage lives on today: John Beechwood, through Jacob's first wife, Elizabeth Grosbeck(?); and Charles and William Beechwood, through Jacob's second wife, Catherine Seelman. My descent is through William.

I have numerous partial genealogies and would like to flesh them out with your help. I'm willing to share all I have if you will do the same. My ultimate goal is to publish a documented Beechwood genealogy (all contributors will be fully acknowledged and credited for their work).
