      <title>Mike BEGAREK Immigration Case Continued in 1932</title>

      <description>...from the Oklahoman Newspaper archives in Oklahoma City, OK, dated:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;01-16-1932&lt;br&gt;p.5&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;TEN ARE MADE NEW CITIZENS&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Naturalization Papers At Hearing Granted&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ushered into United States citizenship with patriotic talks&lt;br&gt;by representatives of the American Legion, American Bar&lt;br&gt;association and Daughters of the American Revolution, six&lt;br&gt;persons Friday were granted naturalization at semiannual&lt;br&gt;district court hearing.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Naturalization papers were issued four other state residents&lt;br&gt;Friday following a hearing before Edgar S. Vaught, federal judge.&lt;br&gt;Papers were issued to George Gossen, Thomas B. Cave, Samuel&lt;br&gt;Falkovits and Hinrich Meno Hinrichs. Falkovits had his name changed&lt;br&gt;to Falk, while Hinrichs took the name of Henry.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In district court, the citizenship rights were granted by&lt;br&gt;George W. Clark, district judge, after an examination by&lt;br&gt;Michael McCaul, Kansas City, Mo., assistant district&lt;br&gt;naturalization director.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The new citizens were Thomas Queder, 611 West Frisco avenue,&lt;br&gt;native of Austria; William H. Schlemeyer, 19 Southwest&lt;br&gt;Forty-second street, Germany; John S. Ginnakopoulos, 350&lt;br&gt;West California avenue, Russia; Max Alexander, 34 East&lt;br&gt;Second street, Russia; and Vasilios Panagopoulos, 904 East&lt;br&gt;Twenty-first street.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Petition of Mike Begarek was continued until July and that&lt;br&gt;of Cornelius Everaard was dismissed without prejudice to&lt;br&gt;allow further study.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;***posted for genealogical purposes only; no relation***&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
