The Begun/Begums became Fanwicks and I am married to Eric Fanwick and my hobby is genealogy. If I am corrected you and Eric are 1st cousins twice removed. If I remember correctly, my father-in-law saying Louis was a painter and lived in New Jersey and they lost contact. Does any of this ring a bell?
