It's been nine years since you posted the information on your Beidleman families.
I have researched the Hursh side of the family for many years and even met Connie Beidleman Buttorff once when I
went to Pennsylvania to do research.
I hope that you're still interested in the William Calder and Elizabeth Rupp (Hursh) Beidleman descendants because I am working on updating.
I would be delighted to have a copy of William and Elizabeth's wedding announcement who were married 26 March 1885 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

I have an old floopy disk given to me with the line since the to Jacobs bothers. it starts I believe around early 1700 till around 1960. I have not checked the condition in a while...but would gladly try to make copies for anyone in need.

Hi!

I am also a descendant of Elias Bidleman through his daughter Catherine Biddleman married to Michael Thornton of Bloomsburg.

According to the 1810 census, Elias had 3 sons and 4 daughters, so we're still missing a child or two. I have:

Catherine - abt 1790
George - abt 1794
Valentine - abt 1796 (married Sophia Vanatta)
Elizabeth - 1800-1805
Mary - 1805-1810
Unknown Male
Unknown Female

Elias is the son of Valentine Biedelman and Maria Barbara Raub. They came from Assenheim, Phalz, Germany.

Would love to share info if you know any more.

My gr gr grandfather was Deemer Beidleman, brother to George Kurtz. A year ago, I named my firstborn after him and have recently started researching his line. Unfortunately, I do not have the info you requested, but I would be delighted to swap/share what family info I do have.

have recently found the immediate family of Valentine Beidleman of Tennessee. Valentine's brother
Henry Beidleman has a probate file in Livingston Co., Missouri --Estate No. 321-B James McFerran, Exr. will proved October 21, 1868- final settlement October 27, 1874.

It is a large file with many depositions referencing family names and relationships. The file documents that Valentine's father was Elias Beidleman who lived in Mifflintown, Mifflin Co., PA perhaps as early as 1800 and died there prior to 1850. His wife's name was not mentioned. The children were Valentine of Tennessee, Henry, Daniel/David (writing in the probate records is difficult to read), Sarah, Esther (Hesther), and Susannah.

Henry C Beidelman b. abt 1852 Illinois (1880 census shows spelling as Beidelman, census shows his parents were born in Pennsylvania)
Married Nancy Arena Ball b. abt 1856 in Iowa
daughter of Orrin W Ball and Mary Jane Dawson

They had at least 1 child:
Orren R Beidleman b. March 1877 Kansas
(1900, 1910 & 1920 census for Orren shows Beidleman)

The last census found was the 1880 census, for White Cloud, Doniphan Co., Kansas.

Any information on this family would be appreciated.

I have a Valentine Beidleman, b. (Bucks) PA, 07 Feb 1788; d. (Sullivan) TN, 19 Jan 1878; m. Abingdon (Washington) VA, 13 Dec 1825, Amanda Malvina Cutler, b. Palmer (Hampden) MA, 23 Sep 1802; d.Holston Furnace (Sullivan) TN, 14 Sep 1845.

Notes that I have indicate that Valentine Beidleman's father was also Valentine.

They had ten children, all b.at Holston Furnace TN.

This is not in response to your request. I just want everyone else to know this is not Timothy Bidleman's request but is Timothy Beidleman's request. We are two different people. I am not playing around by changing the spelling of my surname.

Thought I would get this out since I have been posting items in all the variant spelling boards.
Thought I do believe there is a connection to a Valentine Beidleman through Virginia to my family tree. Just have not been able to connect the dots just yet

Irvin Beidleman helped me link my Deemer Beidleman into his (and others) already researched Beidleman line. As far as I know, Elias Beidleman's father is Valentine b.1735 and his mother is Maria Barbara Raub. The line goes back to abt 1650 in Germany.
I have 8 children listed for Elias and Mary, including Elizabeth, Mary, and George. I do not have the others you list. I would be interested in info on the others you listed, especially since I thought the name Deemer came from the next generation when George married Hannah Deemer.
I am also descended through this George and would like to compare notes.

Her father was, Charles Wynn Beidleman. His father was Augustus Adams Beidleman. His father was Valentine Beidleman, born Feb. 7th, 1788 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
What little information that I have on the naturalization of Jacob Beidleman, comes from "Naturalizations of Foreign Protestants in the American Colonies." it states:
Jacob Beidleman became a naturalized citizen, September 24, 1745, at the Philadelphia courthouse. He was listed as a resident of Bucks County. Pennsylvania. (pg. 27)
Elias Beidleman, became a naturalized citizen at the Philadelphia courthouse, in1747. He was also listed as a resident of Bucks County.
I am stuck with my research, at Valentine Beidleman, not knowing who his father was.

I found a record in Shenandoah County, Virginia that a Daniel Beidleman married a Catharine Read, August 16, 1825

Can anyone tell me anything about the couple. I am hoping they are my direct ancestors since my gggreeat grandmother is said to had been born in Virginia and so was my ggreat grandfather David Bidleman.
Daniel and Catharine moved to Delaware county, Ohio in the latter 1820's with a couple children in tow. David was said to had been born in Rockham, Virginia
Daniel and Catharine are buried in Bokescreek cemetery

Re your 12/31 00 post. I am Irvin Beidleman,born 1933. My father was Charles Irvin Beidleman,Jr. My Grandfather was C.I.B.,Sr.and great grandfather was George Kurtz Beidleman. We are all from N.E. Pennsylvania.
In 1961 I worked In Houston,Tx. with a John Beidleman with Ingersoll- Rand Co.I believe John was also from the N.E. U.S..Ingersoll Rand was Hq'd. in Phillipsburg N.J.(on the Pa.border). My email of 11/25/00 may be incorrect. Jacob emigrated to America in 1745 and died in Bucks County, Pa. in 1785. I believe it's possible that Jacob Elias may have been brothers or uncle and nephew, possibly father and son, or related somehow. Jacob is my great-great-great grandfather. I've traced my roots back to Elias Beidleman, born 2-19-1760. Was he a son of Jacob? Elias married Mary Kenny, born 9-10-1760, died 11-23-1820. Their children were: Elizabeth, Mary, Sophia, George, Deemer and Lanah. I have a family bible with all these names. George would be my great,great,great,great grandfather!
