I am also interested in the Beirne's from Ballymacurley. Here's what I can add to what you have posted:

John Beirne and Catherine (Kitty) Callaghan had eight children. They were married when John was 24 and Kitty was 16.

John Beirne's father, Thomas Beirne (born 1810 as you note) had a brother named John who was married to Kitty Dignan. John and Kitty's nephew and respectively were John and Kitty (above)--they were introduced by their respective uncle and aunt.
