Dear batjac,
I am not sure, but I think Timothy might have been my great-great grandmother's brother. My g-g grandma was Honora or Kate Byrne Torsney. She sponsored two of Timothy's children to come to the US and settle in Cincinnati, Ohio. There are a lot of the descedents (?) still living in the area. In fact my one cuz, Gary Burns, does a lot of work assisting the priest at the church I go to. I think Frank was single and came to the US at one time and couldn't stand one of his nieces. There is another male that went to England. I think I found it on LDS sight. I should tell you I am Peggy Floetker and live in Cincinnati. I live on the west side of town and this is where a lot of Irish are mixed in with the Germans. My g-g grandma got married in 1866 or 1867 to Peter Torsney of Sligo. Her parents were John and Mary, I think. She died around 1878 before her nephews got into Cincy.
