Hello Klaus, Just read your post about our Beisel ancestry. I have names and dates but no real documentation further back than 1754. Johan Peter Beissel/Beisel who was called John P. Beisel in his will would be my 4th great grandfather. John P Beisel was born 1754 and died in 1829. His wife was Gertrude Greisemer ( b. 1757 d. 1836) and they lived in Northampton PA. One son born of this marriage is Felix Beisel b.1782 d.1850 ( the date of death is unproven right now). Felix Beisel/Bisell is my 3rd great grandfather.

This John P Beisel 1754 was the son of Hans Peter Beissel b. 1726 in Eberbach Baden Germany and died 1783 in Northampton PA. Hans Peter Beissel 1726 came to the US in 1733 on the ship Samuel with father Johann Peter Beissel b. 1688 Eberbach Baden Germany and mother Susannah Siebert, another brother Jacob and sister Barbella.
