My line never went to Russia. My immigrant ancestor was Carl Matthias Beissel (Charles Beisel, in U.S.A.), who was baptized on 18 Jun 1829, in the Evangelisch Kirche, in Strümpfelbrunn, Baden. The line includes towns of Eberbach, and Igelsbach, and goes back to Xaver Bus (born about 1370), of Eberbach. I would love to be able to connect all of the Beisel families. Although my ancestor went to New York City, I am related to the lines in Pennsylvania.
