Dear Nancy:
Reading all 37 messages about the Beisers on the Web, I wanted to mention that my great-great grandmother on my mother's side was a Dorothea Beiser. She married John Valentine Corell of Mannheim and when they came to the U.S. it is said that John became the mayor of Hamilton Ohio.

They also lived in Cincinnati, and had at least six children, who would have been born in the 1850's/1860's. John was a carriage/cabinet maker. Their youngest child was Bertha Corell, who married William Biedenbender Jr. of Cincinnati. This is my direct line, but there are many, many Corell descendents.
