Bessie I. (Raling) Beiter, 75, of Paintertown, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011. She was born Oct. 9, 1936, in Ardara, a daughter of the late Harrison and Robeana (Mintz) Raling and was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. Beiter; and seven siblings. She was a member of Paintertown Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia Lewis, of Irwin, and Susan Kelly and her husband, William, of South Fayette; grandchildren, Dawn (Keith) Yaklich and James E. (Cindi) Lewis; great-grandchildren, Tristin Lewis and Taylor, Tori, Tanner and Trista Yaklich; siblings, Herb (Naomi) Raling, of Spokane, Wash., and Dorothy "Dot" (Bob) VanDyke, of Ohio; sister-in-law, Almeda (John) Brentzel; brothers-in-law, Richard (Arlene) Beiter and Robert (Rita) Beiter; also many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Dorothy Worth officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon. Those wishing may contribute, donations may be made to Paintertown Lutheran Church or Make -A- Wish Foundation.
