hi sherrill....saw your posting and wondered if maybe you can help me...i know even less about any of my family history other than my dads grandfather came over from germany sometime in the 1890s...my dad was born in iowa in the 20s moved to calif. after hemet my mom in the early 40s and they settled in los angeles...my moms maiden name was dorothy mae petree and she was born in souix falls, south dakota in 1922.......looking forward to hearing from anyone who might know about this man or this woman who are the only parents that i have ever known........
