I have managed to trace back to George Beland born c. 1804 in Rotherhithe, Surrey, he and a couple of his sons were bakers. He married Martha Bonwick in 1826 in Poplar. They had George, William, Louisa, Jane, John, Thomas, Maria and Martha. George's parents were William Baker and Catherine born around 1780 possibly but I don't know where. This line is proving very elusive and if any one knows anything about them I'd appreciate any help you could give.
