Update to this 1999 post:

My Blaschko's came from Szentgyorgy, Pozsony, Hungary, now Svaty Jur, Bratislava, Slovakia. www.drdocyoung.com

Janos Blaschko, b. bet. 1861-1864, d. 22 Oct 1954, West Haven, CT. He is indexed as Austrian, Polish, Russia:Poland, Hungary. Some of his children when they arrived in 1908, 1910, 1911, indexed as/born in Slovakian, German, Hungary, St George, Austria.

So who knows their true ethnic lineage. I do know after they arrived between 1904-1911, Manhattan NY, they moved to New Haven CT.

My grandmother Antoinette Victoria Blaschkov, b. 1901, Szentgyorgy, Hungary, in German it is Saint George, now Svaty Jur.

All 4 sons, died between 1909-1924, no marriages or children...leaving 3 sisters who married Wilson, Blake, Gill, Heil, Spissak, Tombari.

Thank you, Doc
