Researching Belcher family (both sides of my
paternal family tree). My grandfather's Belchers supposedly from Saltville, VA vicinity to Scioto Co., OH. I am aware of 3
brothers, Richard (b. 1805), Joseph (b. 1809)
and Jesse, they were all married in Scioto Co. in the 1830's. Descendants later moved to Lawrence Co. OH. My grandmother's grandmother was Rachel Belcher; she was b.
abt. 1845 in Tazewell Co. VA dau. of William
A. Belcher and Nancy Yates. These Belchers
settled in Clay Co. VA (WV). I have been unable thus far to find out much info on them
Can anyone help? Would be much appreciated-
