Belden family from Norway in Washington State

Looking for information on Norwegian origins of Belden family in Pierce County.
My great grandmother was Johanna M. Belden b. abt 1871 in Norway. She had a brother Ed, and sisters Edna, Carrie and Maude. She immigrated to USA abt 1880 and married Samuel B. Evenson abt 1890. They lived in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. I do not know when Johanna died - sometime between 1910 and 1920.
According to her daughter, my grandmother, Johanna's mother was named Bergitta/Birgitte and she followed her children to the USA after the death of her husband. She lived with her daughter Carrie Belden Johnson in Parkland, Pierce County, Washington. I have found a Birgitta Olson listed living with Matthias and Carrie Johnson in Parkland in 1910 census. Could she be Johanna's mother?
Is Belden a Norwegian farm name? Could Olson be Birgitte's married name in the American convention? Or is her patronymic surname be Olsdatter? Any clues to finding Beldens from Norway in the Pacific Northwest would be greatly helpful.
